The Lima, OH News, Aug 2, 1958 Patrick Coffey, 67, of Rt. 2, near Westminister, died Wednesday at 11 p.m. at St. Rita's Hospital of a heart attack which he suffered Monday at his residence. He was born in Airon, Scioto County, Sept 10, 1890. He had resided in Lima more than 50 years. He retired in 1956. Mr. Coffey served in World War I overseas with the 308 Signal Corps. Survivors include his widow, Cora E; a brother, Grover, 638 E. Third; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Spurlock of 208½ S. Main and Mrs. Guy Harlo (sic) of Dayton; and a stepson, Virgil H. Roush of Zanesville. He was a member of the Lima Elks and the American Legion. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Cantwell-Sweet Mortuary with Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the East Side Cemetery, Cairo. Lima Lodge of Elks will conduct a service Friday at 8 p.m. at the mortuary. The American Legion will conduct a service at 8:30 p.m. in the mortuary. Friends may call at the mortuary after 8 p.m. today.
