Fitzgerald and Mary Ann Coffey, was born on 14 July 1855 in Virginia. She lived with her son Patrick in Massies Mill, Nelson Co, VA on 12 April 1930. Elizabeth died on 20 February 1937 at the age of 81 in Nelson Co., VA and was buried at Benjamin F. Coffey Family Cemetery in Nelson Co., VA.⁵¹²²

He registered for the WWI draft on 12 September 1918 in Nelson Co., VA.⁵¹²⁷ Zandy died on 25 October 1935 at the age of 50 in Nelson Co., VA and was buried at Benjamin F. Coffey Family Cemetery in Tyro, Nelson Co., VA.⁵¹²⁸ He gave his name as Zandy May Coffey when he registered for the draft in WW1. Zandy never married.
