She was born in Nelson County on Jan. 14, 1883, a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Betty Fitzgerald Coffey. She was a member of Evergreen Christian Church. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Eva C. Bradley of Afton; one brother, the Rev. Aubrey Coffey of Logan, W. Va.; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. Her husband, the late Walker H. Hatter, preceded her in death in 1946. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Evergreen Christian Church at Nash with burial in the family cemetery. The family will assemble at the Piney River Funeral Home to leave for the church. Martha A. Coffey and Walker H.
