ROSELAND-Mrs. Blanche Evelyn Fitzgerald, 68, died Saturday at her home in Roseland.
Born in Nelson County on June 17, 1908, she was the daughter of the late S. Alexander and Ollie Coffey Fitzgerald. She was a member of the Beech Grove Christian Church.

Also surviving are her husband, Mr. Lawney N. Fitzgerald; three sons, Wesley Kent Fitzgerald, Warren Ray Fitzgerald, both of Roseland, and Wayne Edward Fitzgerald of Fredericksburg; a sister, Mrs. B. S. Campbell of Lowesville; a brother, Noland Hope Fitzgerald of Roseland; and one granddaughter.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Beech Grove Christian Church conducted by the Rev. J. D. Farries and the Rev. Stephen Parker. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Clyde Fitzgerald, Toby Fitzgerald, Ronnie Campbell, Woody Campbell, Maryland Campbell, Jimmy Bevelyn, Roger Robinson and Hawthorne Falls.

The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Preston Parr Funeral Home in Roseland and at other times at the residence.  Beech Grove Cemetery in Beech Grove, Nelson Co., VA on 23 November 1976 .²⁹²⁸⁰
