She was born September 30, 1957, in Caldwell County, N.C., to the late Ray McDade and Gail Coffey McDade. She worked at Caldwell Community College as a secretary and was a member of the Lutheran faith. She is survived by her husband, Philip Jones of Icard, N.C.; two sons, Jeff Jones of Hudson, N.C., and Elliot Jones of Icard, N.C.; a daughter, Robin Maltba of Icard, N.C.; two granddaughters, Kyndall and Surae. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August, 7, 2012 at 7 p.m. at St. John Lutheran ELCA in Hudson, N.C., with the Rev. Marcus Ollis of ficiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to ser vice. Burial will be private. Memorials can be made to The National Kidney Foundation, 4819 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28209.
