11473. Ophelia "Fifi" Coffey was born on 23 August 1916 in Moulton, Lawrence Co., AL. Ophelia died at Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, Maricopa Co., AZ on 17 October 2008 and was buried at Roselawn Gardens of Memory in Decatur, Morgan Co., AL on 25 October 2008 .³²⁹⁹⁸

The funeral service for Mrs. J.W. "Fifi" Goode, 92, of Decatur will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Carol Hallman officiating. 

Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m., prior to the service. 

Mrs. Goode passed away Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, Ariz. She was born on Aug. 23, 1916, in Moulton to Thomas Walter Coffey and Mary Elizabeth Crow Coffey. She was a member of First Christian Church of Decatur, mother and homemaker, and a lifelong resident of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Goode, three sisters, Allie Mae Wright, Mary Elizabeth Cancilla and Bea Belew, and son, John Thomas Goode. 

Survivors include son, Allen Goode, and wife, Lois Wingfield, of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter-in-law, Jackie Goode of Decatur; one brother, Thomas G. Coffey of Panama City, Fla.; three granddaughters, Elizabeth Coffee and husband, Mark, of Roswell, Ga., and their children, Thomas Strickland, Olivia Grace and Samuel Wilder, Christy Blumenfeld and husband, Adam, of Dallas, Texas, and their children, Alexandra Tate and Benjamin Robbins, and Elizabeth Wingfield Goode of Phoenix; and one grandson, John Oliver Goode of Phoenix.

Contributions to be made to Community Free Clinic of Decatur-Morgan County or First Christian Church of Decatur. 

Ophelia "Fifi" Coffey and J. W. Goode were married on 13 August 1938 in Morgan Co., AL.³²⁹⁹⁹ J. W. Goode was born on 26 August 1913. J. died in Alabama on 18 June 1982. Roselawn Gardens of Memory in Decatur, Morgan Co., AL in June 1982 .³³⁰⁰⁰
