Ronnie Dariel Coffey passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012, in Wilmington, NC.

He was born in Letcher County, Ky., on February 25, 1944.

Mr. Coffey is preceded in death by his father, Paul Coffey; and four brothers, Wayne Coffey, Jack Coffey, Chico Coffey and Dewey Coffey. Mr. Coffey retired from Baker Furniture where he worked in the finishing department for many years and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Delene Reece Coffey of the home; two daughters, Holly Becton (Shane) of Wilmington, N.C., and Heather Daugherty (John) of Hudson, N.C.; two granddaughter s, Avreigh Becton and Kennidee Becton; and a grandson, Dawson Conner; two sisters, Wanda White of Sawmills, N.C., and Lena Iannacone of Dallas, N.C.; and a brother, Michael Coffey of Granite Falls, N.C. He also is survived by his mother, Verdola C. Coffey of Granite Falls, N.C. Services will be held a t Concord Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Tom McDonald and the Rev. Shane Becton officiating. Visitation will be at Concord Baptist Church from 3 to 4 p.m. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to Concord Baptist Church Building Fund, 74 Falls Ave., Granite Falls, NC 28630.

Ronnie Dariel Coffey and Delene Reece were married. Delene Reece was born on 16 January 1948 in North Carolina. Delene died at Trinity Village in Hickory, Catawba Co., NC on 2 April 2018 and was buried at Pinecrest Cemetery in Granite Falls, Caldwell Co., NC on 5 April 2018 .³⁶³³¹

Delene Coffey, age 70, of Granite Falls, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 02, 2018, at Trinity Village. She was born January 16, 1948, daughter of the late Herman and Margie Roberts Reece.

Delene loved her Lord, playing the piano, singing in the church choir and spending time with her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Ronnie Dariel Coffey; one brother Ken Reece; one sister, Frieda Brown.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Holly Becton and husband Shane of Wilmington, Heather Daugherty and husband John of Hudson; three grandchildren, Avreigh Becton, Kennidee Becton, and Dawson Conner; two brothers, Lynn Reece of Columbia, SC and Marty Reece of Zionville, NC.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 4, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Mackie Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, April 5, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Concord Baptist Church. Rev. Tom McDonald and Rev. Shane Becton will officiate. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery.
