Peggy Sue Robbins Coffey, age 63, of Melrose Street, Lenoir, died Friday, November 2, 2012 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. She was born March 5, 1949 in Caldwell County to the late Clyde R. and Nora Jenkins Robbins.

Mrs. Coffey was employed with Broyhill Furniture Industries and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Grant Coffey of the home; one son, Travis Coffey of Hudson; one daughter, Kimberley Burns and husband Kenneth of Lawndale; five brothers, Claude Robbins of Loraine, OH, Ray Robbins and wife Marianne, Harold Robbins and wife Joyce, Doug Robbins and wife Tina, all of Lenoir, and Mitchell Robbins and wife Elizabeth of Wilkesboro; two sisters, Louise Main and Reva Vines and husband Ray, all of Lenoir; three grandchildren, Matthew Coffey, Cristie Coffey and Landyn Hood; and two step-grandchildren, Justin and Megan Burns.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Stuart White and Rev. Bennett Helton. Interment will follow at Lewis Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home.
