8800. Dallas Powell Lee was born on 29 September 1907 in Montevallo, Shelby Co., AL. Dallas died in Denton, Denton Co., TX on 29 March 1999.

Dallas Powell Lee was a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

He was pastor of First Baptist Churches in Edinburg, Texas; in Quanah, Texas and in Graham, Texas. In 1952, he moved to San Antonio, Texas where he was District Missionary for the Baptist General Convention of Texas. In 1960, he moved to Dallas where he was Secretary for Language Missions for the Baptist General Convention of Texas.

Dallas Powell Lee and Vinnie Margaret Hancock were married on 2 June 1928 in San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX.

Footnote in original document from Al Carhart questions whether marriage occurred in Seguin, Guadalupe, Texas, or in San Antonio. Vinnie Margaret Hancock was born on 29 August 1911 in Philippine Islands. Vinnie died in Denton, Denton Co., TX on 15 January 1984.

Dallas Powell Lee and Sara St. Clair Harris were married on 24 February 1990 in Colleyville, Tarrant Co., TX. Sara died in Memphis, Shelby Co., TN on 26 April 1999.²⁷¹⁵⁵
