Coffey Paul Pershing Coffey, 62, of 1605 Roseland St., died Thursday at his home after a seizure. Funeral plans are incomplete at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Funeral home. Coffey was a retired dye maker for Container Corporation of America and had lived in Greensboro the past 30 years. He was born in Lenoir and was a Baptist. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Helen Pitte Coffey; sons, Jerry Lee Coffey of Vienna, Va., Smith Dwight Coffey of Jacksonville, Fla. and David Wayne Coffey of Browns Summit; brother, Vernon Smith Coffey of High Point; sister, Mrs. Mabel C. Hixson of Knoxville, Tenn.; five grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today. Paul Pershing Coffey and Helen Corine Pitts were married. Helen Corine Pitts was born on 18 May 1921 in Georgia.
