Jordahl, 91, Minot, died Thursday, June 7, 2012 in a Minot hospital. Gladyce Marcella Coffey was born June 27, 1920, a daughter of Milton and Catherine (Filbert) Coffey in Austin, MO. At the age of one and a half years, Gladyce and family moved to Des Lacs, ND, where she was raised and educated, graduating from Des Lacs High School in 1938. On October 20, 1941, Gladyce was united in marriage to Earl "Swede" Jordahl in Sidney, MT. Following their marriage, they lived in Minot. She worked for Paul's Cleaners, Brays Cleaners, and Lane's Sheet Metal. Earl died October 2, 1995. Following his death, she remained in Minot. Gladyce was a member of First Lutheran Church, Moose Lodge, VFW Auxiliary all of Minot. She also bowled in several different leagues for over 20 years. Gladys is survived by: Sons: Michael (Mary) Jordahl, Minot; Gregory (Millie) Jordahl, Wilton, ND; two grandchildren: Jeffrey Jordahl and Kimberly Jordahl; sister; Peggy Nogosek, Des Lacs: sisters-in-law: Polly Coffey, Wichita, KS, Lorraine Coffey, Fargo, ND along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Gladyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Sybil "Geri" Machado, brothers Mike Coffey, Vernon Coffey, Elmo "Buzz" Coffey, and Ronald Coffey, two infant sisters Viola and Ermil; brother-in-law: Richard Nogosek, John Machado and a sister-in-law Mabel Coffey Visitation: Monday, June 11, 2012 from noon until 5 pm at Thompson Larson Funeral Home, Minot Funeral Service: Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 11 am at Thompson Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
