Edith M. Mohr, 74, Shelbyville, died Nov. 25 at her home.

Born Jan. 4, 1926, in Russell Springs, Ky., she was the daughter of James and Ella Ray (Aaron) Coffey. She married Norman E. Mohr on Feb. 26, 1949, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1993.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Danny (Lora) Lee, Shelbyville; three sons, Edwin E. Mohr, Garnet L. Mohr and Mark E. Mohr, all of Shelbyville; one sister, Ada May Gentry, Russell Springs; one brother, Walden O. Coffey, New Albany; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, seven brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Mohr lived in Shelbyville since the late 1940s.

She was a homemaker and a member of Shelbyville Baptist Temple.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Funeral Home with Garnet Mohr, Andy Lee and the reverends Edwin Mohr and Jim Coffey officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Edith Modine Coffey and Norman Edwin Mohr were married on 26 February 1949 in Shelby Co., IN.²⁵³⁵⁰ Norman Edwin Mohr, son of George H. Mohr and Edna Shaffer, was born on 26 May 1924 in Shelby Co., IN. Norman died in Indiana on 29 January 1993 and was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, Shelby Co., IN in January 1993 .²⁵³⁵¹
