W. Carmichael Agnes "Belle" Carmichael, 40, died at her home at 1023 Redding Street at 8:30 a.m. Monday. She was a native of Caldwell County and came to this city 30 years ago. Surviving are the husband, J. W. Carmichael; one son, Harold Lewis Carmichael of Fort Bragg; one daughter, Miss Donaree Carmichael of the home; one sister, Mrs. C. T. Hixson of Kingsport, Tenn.; two brothers, Paul Coffey of Greensboro and Vernon Coffey of High Point. The body was taken to the home from Koonce Funeral Home at 11 a.m. today. Funeral will be at West End Baptist Church Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. In charge of the service will be Rev. W. P. Biggerstaff, pastor, Rev. H. O. Miller, and Rev. DeWitt Patton. Burial will be in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. W. Carmichael High Point - Joseph W. Carmichael, 63, of 109 Oakwood St., was dead on arrival at High Point Memorial Hospital Thursday morning. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Sechrest Chapel. He was born in Scotland County, was a High Point resident for 45 years and was a hosiery fixer prior to retirement. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Charles Hinson of High Point; son, Harold L. Carmichael of High Point; sister, Mrs. Annie McLean of Loris, S.C., brothers W. J. Carmichael of Thomasville and E. H.
