Survivors are three sons, Duane Owens of San Mateo, Fla., Dudley Owens of Jonesboro and Bruce Owens of Brookland; three daughters, Lavada Snow of Dowagiac, Mich., Kay Robinson of Niles, Mich., and Linda Waterman of Piggott; four brothers, Elmer Coffey of Fairdealing, Mo., Edgar Coffey of Qulin, Mo., Doyle Coffey of Jonesboro and Leslie Coffey of Bay; three sisters, Martha Johnson and Ruby Coffey, both of Jonesboro, and Irene Henry of Niles, Mich; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home. Bruce passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at his home in Belton. He was born October 8, 1959 in Lakecity, Arkansas, the son of Argus Arvilla Owens and Lorene Agnus (Coffey) Owens. Bruce married his wife Barbara (McCranie) Owens, August 13, 1983 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He has lived here for 16 years and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Temple. Bruce opened and managed Surplus Warehouse in Temple, was a member of the Horny Toad Harley Davidson Hogs Club, loved to play guitar and make music. He also enjoyed spending much time with his grandchildren and his GTO. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Emma Faye Owens. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Owens; one son, Joshua Duane Owens; daughter, Brandi Sutton and husband Eric; two brothers, Duane Owens and wife Rosemary, Dudley Owens and wife Sherrie; three sisters, Lavada Snow and husband Jim, Linda Waterman and husband Bill, Kay Robinson and husband Larry; three grandchildren, Tyler Michael Sutton, Kaili Faith Sutton, Kayden Joeray Owens; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
