She was born April 21, 1917, in Cardin, Okla., to the late Walter and Ethel Coffey. Irene worked for Industrial Coil for many years. She was a member of Church of Christ in Niles and American Legion Post 116. She enjoyed cross-stitch, latch hook, needlepoint and baking. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, a son, a granddaughter, three brothers and a sister. Survivors include her son, Tony Henry of Edwards-burg, Mich.; grandsons, Todd Mooney of Illinois and Justin and Joshua Henry of Edwardsburg; granddaughter, Andrea Henry of Edwardsburg; brothers, Leslie Coffey and Doyle Coffey, both of Jonesboro; sisters, Martha Johnson and Ruby Coffey, both of Jonesboro; and several nieces and nephews. Services were Saturday in Niles with burial in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
