Elizabeth Darlene Coffey Greene, 56, of Blue Creek Road, Lenoir, passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, at Caldwell UNC Health Care. She was born April 14, 1959, in Caldwell County to Lucille Phillips Coffey of Lenoir and the late Charlie Coffey.

Mrs. Greene was a CNA for Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care and a Substitute teacher with Caldwell County Schools until 2011.

Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Billy S. Greene of the home; one son, Richard Brent Greene and wife Rhonda of Spring Hill, Tenn.; one daughter, Marsha Faynette Greene of Lenoir; two brothers, Charles Coffey and wife Virginia, and Kenneth Coffey, both of Lenoir; one grandson, Ryan Greene; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Billy S. Greene.

Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Lenoir.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the ser vice at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brent Greene, Chuck Coffey, Tanner Philyaw, Tyler Setzer, Charles Cof fey and Kenneth Coffey.
