Roger Lee Coffey Sr.Roger Lee Coffey, Sr., 68, of Sherando, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at his home. He was born in Waynesboro on August 28, 1946, son of the late Winfred H. Coffey and Mary P. Coffey.In 2007 Roger retired from Mohawk after 42 years of service.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Johnny M. Coffey and Nin V. Coffey; and a special granddaughter, Ciara M. Coffey.He is survived by his children, Teresa Bergey and husband, Brian of Stuarts Draft, Roger Coffey, Jr. and wife, Trish of Waynesboro, Donna McCoy and husband, Chad of Stuarts Draft, Renee Truxell and husband, Neil of Waynesboro, Johnny Coffey and fianc‚, Lindsey of Waynesboro and Cathy Davis and Tony of Sherando; 16 grandchildren, Ashley, Katelyn, Caleb, Cody, Whitney, Brittany, Devan, Chelsea, Seth, Christian, Jonathan, Heather, Jordan, Blake, Logan and Colton; a special great-granddaughter, Kylee and lifelong friend, Louise Griffin.A private graveside service will be held by the family.
