LIBERTY - James C. Coffey, 92, of Adams Street, died Thursday at Casey County Hospital.

Born Oct. 31, 1913, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Reid and Macdella Cundiff Coffey. He was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church, an Army veteran of World War II and the widower of Juey McDonald Coffey and Ruby Wright Coffey.

Survivors include a son, Donald S. Coffey of Hustonville; a grandson; and two great-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Coffey.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by the Rev. Bruce Lee. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Saturday.

Memorials may go to Liberty United Methodist Church building fund.

James Cundiff Coffey and Ruby Mae Wright were married. Ruby Mae Wright was born on 4 January 1919 in Casey Co., KY. Ruby died on 25 October 2005 at the age of 86 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Casey Co., KY and was buried at Whited Cemetery in Clementsville, Casey Co., KY on 28 October 2005.^42108,42109

LIBERTY - Ruby Coffey, 86, of Adams Street, died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Jan. 4, 1919, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late James and Martha Whited Wright. She was homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, James Coffey; a daughter, Judy Allan of Livingston, Texas; a stepson, Steve Coffey of Hustonville; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Whited Cemetery by John Dean.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

James Cundiff Coffey and Jessie Ann McDonald were married on 21 April 1937 in Casey Co., KY. Jessie Ann McDonald was born on 19 June 1918 in Casey Co., KY. Jessie died on 19 March 1987 at the age of 68 in Casey Co., KY and was also buried at Antioch Christian Church Cemetery in Phil, Casey Co., KY.⁴²¹¹⁰
