2366. Jasper Newton Coffey was born circa January 1854 in Bean Station, Grainger Co., TN. Jasper died on 30 March 1915 at the age of 61 in Tushka, Atoka Co., OK and was buried at Tushka Cemetery in Atoka Co., OK on 31 March 1915.⁹⁰¹³

Jasper Newton Coffey and Rutha (Lucy?) Jane Shell⁹⁰¹⁴ were married circa 1876 in Tennessee. They appeared in the census on 1 June 1880 in Hancock Co., TN.⁹⁰¹⁵ They^⁹⁰¹⁵ appeared in the census on 12 June 1900 in Grainger Co., TN.⁹⁰¹⁶ Jasper and Rutha^⁹⁰¹⁶ appeared in the census on 17 May 1910 in Wilson, Atoka Co., OK.⁹⁰¹⁷

According to source, Jasper Newton and his family lived in Texas for a couple of years (1902-1903) after leaving Tennessee and before moving to Oklahoma. Jasper's youngest child, Jessie was born in Texas in 1903.

Rutha (Lucy?) Jane Shell, daughter of Alfred Noah Shell and Lucinda Dial, was born on 22 January 1861 in Tennessee. She lived with her son Stokley in Lewis Twp., Atoka Co., OK on 11 April 1930. Rutha died in Lane, Atoka Co., OK on 21 September 1940 and was buried at Tushka Cemetery in Tushka, Atoka Co., OK in September 1940 .⁹⁰¹⁸

Jasper Newton Coffey and Rutha (Lucy?) Jane Shell had the following children:

6766	iv.	Lorey Coffey was born in November 1888 in Tennessee. Lorey apparently died after the 1900 census and, before the 1910 census.
6767	v.	Frank Coffey was born on 30 December 1891 in Knoxville, Knox Co., TN. He registered for the WWI draft on 15 June 1917 in Atoka Co., OK.⁹⁰¹⁹ He appeared in the census on 16 January 1920 in Stringtown, Atoka Co., OK.⁹⁰²⁰ Frank died of stomach cancer on 4 June 1928 at the age of 36 in Denison, Grayson Co., TX and was buried at Tushka Cemetery in Atoka Co., OK.^{9021,9022,9023} He was also known as Frank Coffia.^{9021,9022,9023} Frank apparently never married.
6768	vi.	Willis Coffey was born on 30 December 1891 in Knoxville, Knox Co., TN.⁵¹²⁶ He was also known as Willis Coffia.⁵¹²⁶ He lived with his parents in Grainger Co., TN on 12 June 1900. He registered for the WWI draft on 5 June 1917 in Atoka Co., OK.⁹⁰²⁴ Willis lived with some of his siblings in Stringtown, Atoka Co., OK on 16 January 1920. He lived with his brother Stokley in Lewis Twp., Atoka Co., OK on 11 April 1930. Willis died in Atoka, Atoka Co., OK on 24 June 1964 gastric carcinoma and was buried at Tushka Cemetery, in Atoka Co., OK in June 1964 .⁹⁰²⁵ Willis apparently never married.
