Mr. Coffey is survived by two daughters, Dana Sherrill and husband Eric of Bessemer City, NC and Rhonda Tutterow of Tabor City, NC. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Eugene Hawkins and Cassie Hawkins. The family will receive friends at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia from 3 until 4 o'clock PM today Thursday, April 20, 2000. A graveside service for Mr. Coffey will be held at 4 o'clock PM today Thursday at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City, NC, with the Rev. Reavis Fox officiating. Carothers Funeral Home, Gastonia, is serving the Coffey family.
