He is also survived by two grandchildren, Eugene Hawkins and Cassie Hawkins. The family will receive friends at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia from 3 until 4 o'clock PM today Thursday, April 20, 2000. A graveside service for Mr. Coffey will be held at 4 o'clock PM today Thursday at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City, NC, with the Rev. Reavis Fox officiating. Carothers Funeral Home, Gastonia, is serving the Coffey family.
