She was born March 7, 1910, in Caldwell County to the late Finley Coffey and Effie Turnmire Coffey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. McGee; two brothers, Lloyd and Cloyd Coffey; and one sister, Coline Coffey. She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Burke County. Survivors include four brothers, Clyde F. Coffey, Vilas L. Coffey, Ernest E. Coffey and Hal Coffey, all of Lenoir; two sisters, Irene Hartley and Lois Coffey, both of Lenoir. A graveside service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Brady Adkins officiating. The family will receive friends today from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home.
