She lived with her father in Hancock Co., TN on 21 November 1850. In this census record she was age 4 years and enumerated between Rebecca, age 8, and Wilson, age 2. Orrena, Renie or Rena died on 4 May 1918 at the age of 74 in Grainger Co., TN and was buried at White Cemetery in Thorn Hill, Grainger Co., TN.8749,8750

Sister Rena Coffey was born July 1843. She professed religion at the age of twelve, joined the Cedar Springs church later moved her membership to Dry Valley and from there to Oak Hill where she remained until death. She was married in 1870 to the Rev. J. W. White, to this union was born four children. She departed this life May 4, 1918. One child preceded her to the Glory Land. She left a husband and three children to mourn her loss. [Submitted by] A Daughter.

"Serena's name is really Orenna and she was called Renie. Old man Rance Coffey of Wildie, KY, remembered her. Richardson Coffey was killed during the Civil War, they had one son named John. Her 2nd husband was John White. Orenna and John White are buried in the cemetery near Coffey Chapel, north of Thorn Hill, TN. Her name is Orenna on the tombstone. Richardson's brother John Coffey's 2nd wife was Serena Cope. She was also called Renie." Source: Bennie Coffey Loftin (?)
