Mr. Frenis Dewey Coffey, 90, retired furniture worker, died Dec. 24, 1989, at Meadowbrook Manor nursing home. Funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday at King's Creek Baptist Church. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 tonight at Miller's Funeral Home.

Survivors are his wife, Mae; sons, Steve Coffey of Knoxville, Tenn., Kenneth Coffey of Winston-Salem; daughters, Mrs. Janet Morgan of Marion, N.C., Mrs. Gale Little; sisters, Mrs. Adele Abernathy of Key Largo, Fla., Mrs. Delana Cooke of Linville.

Frenis Dewey Coffey and Bessie Lenora Teague were married on 3 February 1921 in Lower Creek, Caldwell Co., NC.³⁶⁷¹⁰ Bessie Lenora Teague, daughter of Andrew A. Teague and Addie Emmerville Hodges, was born on 25 November 1903 in North Carolina. Bessie died of broncho pneumonia on 21 February 1930 at the age of 26 at home in Kings Creek Twp., Caldwell Co., NC and was buried at Kings Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenoir, Kings Creek Twp., Caldwell Co., NC on 22 February 1930.^36711,36712
