Cloria Phillips was born on 25 January 1914. Born in Scott County, January 25, 1914, she was the daughter of the late John Phillips and Lula Phillips West. In addition to her parents, she was preceded also in death by her husband, Alton Coffey, one son, Jack Coffey; one infant daughter, Patricia Faye Coffey; and three brothers, Clyde and Oscar Phillips, and Lonnie West. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, and was very active in church affairs. She was also employed at the Oneida School cafeteria for many years. She is survived by one son, Glen Herman Coffey and his wife, Mary of Mobile, Ala.; two daughters, Jennie Lou Stanley and husband, Richard of Somerset, Ky., and Betty S. Phillips and husband, Delmus of Oneida; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one sister, Jo Blaisdell of Saratoga, Fla.; one daughter-in-law, Norma Jean Coffey; one sister-in-law, Estell Vaughn; several nieces, nephews, and relatives. Funeral service was conducted September 11, 1999, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Rev. Lou Chenowith and Rev. Chester Morgan officiating. Music was provided by Allen Matthews.
