J. C. Coffey was born Nov. 4, 1857 [sic], age 78 years, 7 months and 28 days; departed this life June 1 [sic] 1936. He was married to Margaret Jane Wolfe January 27 [sic], 1880. To this union was born thirteen children, two of whom preceded him in glory. He professed faith in Christ at an early age and joined the Baptist church of Cedar Springs where he was a member until death. He was loyal to his church and often talked of his better home. He is missed by church and all who knew him but their loss is his eternal gain. Funeral service by Rev. Henry Collins, Hugh Brogans. Written by daughter, Dulscena Malecoat [sic].

Margaret Jane Coffey was born Jul 29, 1862 [sic] age 73 years, 1 month, 9 days, departed this life Sept. 8, 1935. She was married to J. C. Coffey January 7, 1880 and to this union was born thirteen children eleven of whom are still living. She professed religion in her youth and joined the Missionary Baptist Church at Dry Valley, later moved her membership to the Missionary Baptist Church at Cedar Springs where she was a member thirty-eight years or until her death. She was afflicted many years and bore her affliction with patience. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. John Ogan. A. A. Dalton, Church clerk

The FGS that Marcus sent, said it was from their family Bible says parents of Margaret Jane Wolfe is William Wolfe, Esquire Magistrate of Grainger Co. TN and Maleta Hipshire/Hipsher.
