She appeared in the census on 16 April 1930 in Globe Twp., Caldwell Co., NC.¹⁸⁶⁶⁵ Eliza died of a myocardial infarction on 16 July 1969 at the age of 83 at Blowing Rock Hospital in Blowing Rock, Watauga Co., NC and was buried at Boone Fork Community Cemetery in Blowing Rock, Watauga Co., NC.^{18666,18667,18668}

This is probably the Eliza Townsend, born 1886, in the household with her parents, Henry and Emaline in the 1900 Watauga Co. census.

Alice was never married to Henry Edward Coffey, but she did have several children by him after Willard died.
