Hewlett, Va., Sept. 5 - John F. Coffey, 76, died Saturday at his home in this Hanover County community. He was born in Watauga County, N.C., and had lived 40 years of his life in Caroline County, Va. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Frances C. Coffey; one son, J. S. Coffey, of Partlow, Va.; two brothers, Rufus and Charlie Coffey, both of Blowing Rock, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Stocks of New Orleans, and Mrs. Junie Lantz, of Blowing Rock; five grandchildren and one great-

Frances died on 14 January 1956 at the age of 81 in Partlow, Spotsylvania Co., VA and was buried at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Ruther Glen, Caroline Co., VA.^19277,19278
