Torrey Road, Lyndhurst, Virginia, passed away Thursday morning, December 7, 2006, at King's Daughters' Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 30, 1912, in Nelson County, the daughter of the late John and Lucille Demastus Coffey. She was a homemaker and a member of Lynside Mennonite Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Coffey, Andy Coffey, Luther Coffey, Dellie Coffey and Clint Coffey; her sisters, Effie Demastus, Clatis Everette and Ida Brydge. Survivors include her nieces and nephews. A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2006, at Lynside Mennonite Church by the Rev. Marvin Kaufman. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Carlton Brydge, John Hailey, Robert Burkholder, David Harner, Billy Coffey and Thomas Coffey. Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews attending the service. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2006, at Reynolds Funeral Service of Waynesboro.
